If you find that you have no-Internet there are very many reasons why this is the case, lets start with the basics, have you got power, is it switched on, is the router switched on, check how many lights are showing, let us presume that it was working last time you tried, have you paid the bill, has anybody else been playing with the machine, does your Internet connection show a fault or how many bars are showing.
Now what to do about getting it working, you have power and twinkling lights on your router your indicator shows at least two bars, your service provider’s subscription is up to date, time to delve a little deeper. Switch your router off and wait 10 seconds before you switch it back on again, then you must keep checking to see if it starts working, click on the bars indicator if it shows connected then disconnect and reconnect.
Still not working? Your computer can be used to troubleshoot any problems with your connection, there are so many different types that it is difficult to be specific advice, I would go into control center find the device’s list, click on the ones you think are connected with the Internet Service, if you don’t get a message to say that the device is working properly then see if your machine can repair it.
Going to your history and click on a few items that you regularly use and see what sort of error messages you get if they don’t work, if it still tells you that it cannot connect, my next advice is ask a friend who you think might be able to help you, failing that investigate the help files and is still no luck you will be obliged to get professional help, this is presuming that nobody else has been altering your machines settings.
The next thing I would do, would be to switch everything off computer and router, and go and make a cup of tea do anything else you can do to waste a bit of time, but whatever you do, do not panic it may seem like the end of the world but I can assure you it’s not fatal,it just feels like it.
Make sure you have the best virus protection and that it is up to date, this can save you a whole heap of trouble.
Fortunately with modern communication systems these dangerous situations can be monitored easily and warnings issued by local government, civil defense, police, local radio and television.
